THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED WITH ADDITIONAL DETAILS AS PLANNING CONTINUES!

Ashes to Go on Main Street, Plymouth, New Hampshire, 2015

We are greatly looking forward to being able to gather in person (with precautions) for Lent and Holy Week 2022! Here is what we currently know about the schedule:

Shrove Tuesday, March 1: Burning of the Palms, 7:00 PM, outdoors in front of the church. Coffee, tea and goodies will be available! We will not be doing the Pancake Supper on Zoom this year, but the pancake recipe will be emailed out if you wish to use it in your home.

Ash Wednesday, March 2: Liturgy of the Day, 12:00 noon & 7:00 PM, in person. The 7 PM service will also be broadcast on Zoom. Ashes will be available for pickup at the church between 2 and 4 PM, so that if you wish, you can have “the real thing” while tuning in to the evening service from home. Ashes to Go will be offered at a train station TBA from 5-6 PM!

Consecrated communion wafers will be available by request at any time until noon on Good Friday, for those who wish to partake of communion while tuning in to worship on Zoom.

Sundays in Lent (March 6-April 3): Holy Eucharist, 10:00 AM, hybrid. Lent I (March 6) will begin with the Great Litany.

For Holy Week, we have a lot that’s happening outside – pray for good weather!

Palm Sunday, April 10: Outdoor procession with palms, 9:45 AM. You are encouraged to come be in the procession only, if you’re not yet comfortable being inside the church building! Liturgy of the Day with reading of the Passion and Holy Eucharist, hybrid, immediately following. Palm Sunday will also see the return of Coffee Hour, hosted on this occasion by the Corporation. Weather permitting, folks will be encouraged to eat and mingle outdoors as well as inside.

Holy Monday, April 11: Regular Evening Prayer on Zoom, 5:00 PM
